Contraception and sexual health

The nurse offers a confidential sexual health service and there's also a Sexual Health Clinic on most Wednesdays in term time, where you can access sexual health screening and contraception.

There's a Chlamydia screening service throughout the week, visit the Student Wellbeing Service Reception to collect a screening pack.

General health and well-being

If you're thinking about improving your general health and wellbeing, the nurse can advise you on the best way to give up smoking, lose weight safely and permanently, or how to follow a healthy exercise regime as well as supporting you with any health or wellbeing related issue. This can include if you are feeling ill on campus.

We stock a wide range of leaflets about all aspects of health.  Come and browse and to pick up anything of interest to you.

We can also provide you with details of local health services such as GP practices and more.
