Individual learning plan
It's important you feel supported in your individual progress through your course. Your tutor will meet with you regularly to set targets and monitor your progress and keep a record which will be shared with you. These meetings are a good opportunity for you to review whether you're getting the support that you need in order to be successful and also for your tutor to give you feedback on whether you're doing all that you can in order to enjoy your course, get the best grades and successfully achieve your qualifications. If you're a work-based learner your assessor will do this with you in your Progress Reviews.
Make your targets SMART
S - specific, significant, stretching
M - measurable, meaningful, motivational
A - agreed upon, attainable, achievable, acceptable, action-oriented
R - realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented
T - time-based, timely, tangible, trackable
