I'm delighted to welcome you to Buxton College.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, supportive environment with strong links to industry and in developing the appropriate skills and confidence to best prepare students for success in the workplace.

We are one of the few Colleges in the country to be 'nested' within a University giving our students direct access to progression pathways into higher education and beyond.

Last year Buxton College achieved placing in the Top 10% of colleges in the country for our Level 3 programmes for both 16-18 year olds, and 19+ students, all entry level programmes, short course provision and Level 2 16 - 18 year old programmes.

Our students are taught using industry standard equipment by experienced staff who develop students as individuals and professionals in their chosen field.

We are pleassed with the many opportunities that students have the opportunity to take part in inclduing additional enrichment activities that will enhance work experience such as visits, additional skills development and competitions alongside achieving nationally recognised qualifications.
