What does this course offer me?

If you're aged 16 to 23 years old, the Foundation Learning programme is a really flexible way of being able to get back into learning again and get a qualification or to help you to get in to work further down the line.

It doesn't matter if you haven't got any qualifications, or if you didn't get the grades you expected from school you can still join.

Tell me about the course in general

We've got friendly and helpful staff that will work with you and find out what interests you most, whether that's a subject that you'd like to learn more about, or what you'd need to do to get a job that you're really interested in.

Even if you're unsure about what you want to do with your future, we can work with you and talk about all the different options there are. There may be things that you've never even thought about doing that you would enjoy.

You'll get the chance to try out some great practical subjects such as:

  • hospitality and catering
  • motor vehicle
  • childcare
  • hairdressing and beauty and many more.

There are lots of fun enrichment activities that you can get involved with too.

We've got lots of fantastic courses at the Devonshire campus, you'll be like any other student and have exactly the same opportunities.
