Tell me about the course in general
During this excellent training programme you will develop a range of food and drink service skills.
You will take part in practical sessions in your workplace and learn the theory either in College or using online learning materials. You'll work alongside others as part of a team.
You'll spend four or five days in work and one day in College.
You may need to pay for specialist materials associated with this course.
What qualifications will I get?
NVQ Level 2 in Food and Drink Service, Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles, plus Key Skills qualifications in Maths and English.
What can I go on to next?
You will be able to apply for positions in a wide range of hospitality businesses or move on to our Advanced Apprenticeship in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed throughout your course in different ways, including observation of your skills, practical and written assignments and projects.
