Fees
College fees are made up of several elements, including:
- your tuition fees
- awarding body registration fees
- College administration fees
- exam and certification fees.
The fees you pay depend on various criteria, such as your age, whether you're eligible for a discount and whether you live in the UK, the European Union (EU), or overseas.
» Students aged 16 - 18
Full time UK and EU students
Your course will be free of charge, so you won't have to pay your tuition, registration, exam and certification fees.
However you may have to pay for specialist equipment or materials that are not included in the course fees, and also for trips and visits. And if you decide to take extra qualifications you may need to pay the fees for these courses.
If you fail your exams you will be able to re-sit the exam once free of charge. However if you need to take it again you will need to pay the exam fees.
Full time overseas students
Your course fees for 2011/2012 will be confirmed on application. You will also need to pay your registration and exam fees.
» Students 19 years and over

Fees for students aged 19+ are currently under review by the government who are committed to offering more free training that leads to employment. This page will be updated regularly with the latest fee information.
All fees are subject to change and review. Costs are confirmed at application.
You will have to pay for any specialist equipment or materials that are not included in the course fees and for trips and visits.
