Leanne Beswick studied our BTEC National in Business, and since then has excelled in higher education, giving herself the best opportunity to do well in the business world. She's been to study in the USA and is now back in the UK where she plans to look for a job working in human resource management.
What Leanne says
'From a young age I was interested in business so the BTEC National seemed like a natural choice. I was able to do an A level equivalent course in a friendly environment studying my chosen area.
The course was a great experience. I completed a variety of practical and realistic assignments and gained many useful skills.
I was also fortunate to develop a support network of friends and professionals who are still there for me years after completing the course.
With the support and encouragement from the tutors I went on to higher education at the University of Derby gaining a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree, followed by MA Human Resource Management. I have recently spent a year studying in the USA where I gained an international masters."
