As an employer you can receive an AGE Grant, an Apprenticeship Grant for Employers, which will help you to support your Apprentice.

The AGE Grant of £1,500 can be offered to you as an employer when you recruit an Apprentice and can be used to overcome some of the financial barriers you might face as an employers.
The grants will run out soon though, so get in touch now to avoid disappointment.
Through the Employer Engagement Team at Buxton College you will be supported with your application for the AGE Grant funding.
All we ask you to do is recruit an Apprentice and support them throughout their programme.
To be eligible for this grant you must meet the following criteria:
- Employ 1000 employees or less
- The Apprentice must be 16 to 24 years old
- The Apprentice must not be in employment or education before they start their Apprenticeship
- Not have employed an Apprentice in the last 12 months.
You will receive the full amount of £1,500 once the Apprentice has completed 13 weeks of employment on their Apprenticeship Programme. An additional £1,000 will be available to you once your Apprentice has successfully completed all elements of the Apprenticeship. (Only available in Derbyshire for employers in receipt of the AGE Grant).
